IFC/ODBC Software. Im exploring Cost Estimating, Facilities Management, Specification Writers, and Material Takeoff softwares that utilize IFC and ODBC data that can be exported from Revit. The only solution is to place images in a drafting view (or legend view) first. Rescaling the image can also be easier from a drafting view once scale is established. On top of which, your client might change the design of the component dozens of times. It doesnt have to flex, it just has to illustrate your design intent. Im not talking about software bugs that wont go away until youve installed a software update.
