Now draw a detail line in any view of your project. Draw your repeating detail over your new detail line as though tracing the detail line. CAD Digest.

Some food for thought: Could it (read that as "it will") be better to let the walls be modeled as they will be built (with dead spaces in between), rather than using in-place walls that simply mimic old methodologies, like CAD or Hand drawn lines filled with poche or hatching?
