The Denver Elections Commission has announced that the Denver Green Roof Initiative, a mandatory green roof ballot initiative will appear on the November 7 ballot. Exempted buildings must pay a cash in lieu of construction of a green roof for the reduced or exempted area at $25 per square foot.

Since September 1, new utility based incentives were announced, not only in Kentucky, but also in Ohio, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Missouri, Colorado, and Georgia. Funding is available for up to 50% of the cost of achieving the Enhanced Commissioning LEED credit, up to $20,000 per project.
