Hyundai Construction Equipment Announces $449M Deal with CNH

Hyundai Construction Equipment announced today it expects to build 2,200 mini-excavators for CNHi in a deal worth $449 million. The agreement ends in 2021. After separating from Hyundai Heavy Industries in April, this move is seen as part of the firm's effforts to expand its global reach. Hyundai Construction said it is seeking to increase its sales volume in North American by 40 percent and build sales in Oceania by 45 percent.

Bechtel Using Wax and 3D Printing to Build London Tube

Bechtel Ltd is working on Europe's largest construction project, the Elizabeth Line, which is the first full new ungrounded rail line built for London's Tube in 30 years. Called the Crossrail,( until it is renamed the Elizabeth Line upon competition) the project will bring eight new subsurface stations and 26 miles of tunnels under the city, eventually carrying riders to 40 London Underground stations.
