Surveys and Site Plans. Now lets say youve developed your site plan (with linked survey) and you want to export the data (including survey) back to DWG format. The survey needs to be a part of the Revit model or Revit wont consider it when exporting your site plan to DWG. We design traditional, high-end residential work.

I never knew (until today) that you cant use the line work tool on objects that are contained in a design option. Of course the simple way to deal with this is to make the design option editable, but its still bit odd to me given that the linework tool is effectively a graphic override in the view youre working in. Revit Zone.
