Some food for thought: Could it (read that as "it will") be better to let the walls be modeled as they will be built (with dead spaces in between), rather than using in-place walls that simply mimic old methodologies, like CAD or Hand drawn lines filled with poche or hatching? It is more suited to a model that is about graphics.

Outside of being clumsy, the other issue with some of these tools is cost, Codebook for example doesnt work as a business model for small projects, unless youve got the big project(s) to cut your teeth on it and standardize it. This isnt necessarily a bad habit as long as they are using detail lines and not model lines (detail lines are view specific but model lines will show up everywhere).
