Im not talking about software bugs that wont go away until youve installed a software update. like the change is some new data for the model. I upgraded a model once, from Revit 2009 to Revit 2011, and an odd thing happened. This can reset data in the model. We design traditional, high-end residential work.

Always Be Phase Aware In every project file your modeled components have a phase created and a phase demolished parameter whether you like it or not. If you place a model component in a view that is set to the New Construction phase (under View Properties), that component automatically gets placed in the New Construction phase.

Some food for thought: Could it (read that as "it will") be better to let the walls be modeled as they will be built (with dead spaces in between), rather than using in-place walls that simply mimic old methodologies, like CAD or Hand drawn lines filled with poche or hatching? I see the same with these types of workarounds.

If you know photoshop, using this software is a snap. It loaded viewing the model from the bottom of the floor, under the building.
