Maryland residents may be eligible for a one time excise tax credit, up to $3,000.00, when they purchase or lease a qualifying plug-in electric vehicle through June 30, 2017.

Department of the Interior issued the long awaited final regulation permitting “the take [injure, kill or otherwise disturb] of bald eagles and golden eagles” for wind energy projects. Without this new regulation permitting the take of eagles at wind projects that new goal would likely not have been attainable.
