Delete Sheets In Browser or Schedules. Rooms and areas can be deleted in model views like floor plans and ceiling plans. Revit warns us that they have been deleted from the model but they are still listed in schedules. To really delete them we have to open a schedule view and delete them there. Whadya think?

Wall Floor Interaction and Linked Models. When we have architecture and structure in separate Revit models we end up with somewhat clumsy graphics in wall sections. This is more pronounced if the structural slab is in the structure model only. The issue is the same when interior walls are linked into a shell model.

Some people have to be reminded that the project file is a database and like any database the more and accurate information about the project you put into the model the more analytical modeling and scheduling you can get out of the model. The more accurate the information in your Revit model the more you can do with it. Models from different consultants (who use software other than Revit to model) can be combined for analysis and clash detection. If you want to estimate the total cost of the project per square foot then setup an Area Plan scheme and Area schedule: 1. Schedule/Quantities. If you want to estimate the total cost of the project by materials used then setup one of Revits new Material Takeoff Schedules: 1. Schedule/Quantities. Labels: Schedules.
