North Dakota Has Highest Worker Fatality Rate, Data Reveals

According to data from the AFL-CIO Safety and Health Department, North Dakota had the highest fatality rate in the nation (14.9 per 100,000 workers) in 2013, more than four times the national average. Terex Posts 1Q Results, Misses Estimates

Terex issued its first quarter earnings and reported $0.02 earnings per share for the quarter, missing analyst estimates of $0.18 by $0.16. The company had revenue of $1.5 million for the quarter, compared to the consensus estimate of $1.46 million and a decrease from $1,654.6 million in the first quarter of 2014. Income from operations was $44.2 million in the first quarter of 2015, a decrease of $30.8 million when compared to income from operations of $75 million in the first quarter of 2014.
